I just finished the Furry Fleece Jacket from Ottobre 4/2004 #22. It is a size 164 lengthened to a 170. It turned out so well. Instead of lace around the sleeves M wanted a shorter ruffle like that around the edge of the body. For the ruffle, I just made the ruffle strip longer (3+ of the long strips) and gathered it using my serger and serged the whole thing on. I pinned it with small gathers at the curves so that it would stay ruffly around them and then used the serger to ease the ruffles in without actually gathering it. Could have done this a little more even.
